My biggest gripe with these books is that they aren’t one big book. The formatting throws me off and forces me to remove myself from the story to download the next book. I wonder if I would give it a solid 5 if I was reading the singular paperback!

Story-wise, it’s phenomenal. I’m pleasantly surprised with how quickly I became invested in the characters and the story. I *needed* to know what happened.

The FMC is a badASS. I find myself routing for her even though her actions are a little morally twisted. Which, I know you’re supposed to. Abby does a great job of giving you just enough to keep wanting more. I feel like each book is just gunna keep peeling back layers as you follow Logan and Lana as they become romantically involved while playing cat and mouse in a completely different way.

I’ve already recommended this book/series to people and I’m not even sure how it ends yet.

As always, make sure you check your trigger warnings!

Happy reading 😌📚😮‍💨

This was such an easy read that kept me intrigued the whole way through. It sets up nicely for the rest of the books, and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time! Definitely would recommend if you like twisted and dark, serial killer-esque stories.

For such a short book it expertly gets the themes, characters and story across super quickly and well. I really enjoyed it and I'll be reading the next one. Interesting concept but quite brutal at times. It'll be interesting to see if I retain empathy with her over time. The end paragraph was an excellent hook for the next one, well done to the author for this book! 👏

I can already tell I’ll fly through the entire Mindf*ck Series! Book 1 did not disappoint. The storyline of a serial killer falling in love with a FBI agent is one that will never fail to keep me turning the pages. I love both main characters so far, and I can’t wait to see where the plot goes in book 2. The cliffhanger at the end of this one had me thinking “oh sh*t….”
