this book was a quick enjoyable read. i loved that the mcs were a female serial killer and a male fbi profiler. the concept is great, it ended where i want to pick up the second book immediately and there are other mysteries i want answers to. the writing was ok, but easy to read.

For such a short book it expertly gets the themes, characters and story across super quickly and well. I really enjoyed it and I'll be reading the next one. Interesting concept but quite brutal at times. It'll be interesting to see if I retain empathy with her over time. The end paragraph was an excellent hook for the next one, well done to the author for this book! 👏

This was a decent dark romance.  It was a quick read and I enjoyed the plot overall.  I would say there is some gore, it's a little intense/twisted at times.  I would give it...maybe 2 chili peppers for spice/smut.

This book was kind of stupid but I’ve heard it gets better as the series goes on and it’s a fun, thrilling read. Also kinda curious to see what made her get to the point of murdering these awful men. I’m rooting for her lol
