One of my all-time favorite series, I have read the entire series twice now and I’m currently on my second reread as of today. 

PSA: The covers for these books are SUPER misleading - this is not just some smut series or even really a series with a lot of explicit scenes. This series is more like… Criminal Minds meets Dexter, with a dash of background romance. The plot is excellent, the characters are well-developed, the pacing is perfect. There are very few things I could complain about unless I was intentionally being nit picky. 

If you’ve even THOUGHT about reading this series, just do it. All the books are super short on their own but honestly just read the first chapter of the first book and I think you’ll be hooked.

That cliffhanger!! I did not expect to be left with more awe and intrigued than I am! I listened to this book, so it felt like an episode of a crime show, like Criminal Minds or Law & Order. The balance of the FBI and crime-solving/revenge killing story with the romance Lana and Logan blossoming is even. Excited to find out what's next.

This is about a female serial killer hell bent on getting revenge on people from her past. It is hinted at what happened to her in the past and you get little snippets. This reminds me of a female version of Dexter. In this first book, she meets and forms a relationship with an FBI profiler who works on serial killer cases (includinh hers). It is complicated to say the least. This book is pretty fast paced and I am excited to read the next one.
