A solid Grisham but far from the best. Unfortunately the subject matter is quite dated now and I feel like most of the scam was fairly obvious as to where it was going.

Entertaining but ran out of steam in the last quarter

This book is just plain bad. Nothing happens during the story including the ending (probably the worst ending in history, even A Tale of Two Cities tried to make up for it's crappy story with a decent ending). NEVER read this book unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Not my favorite Grisham book, mainly because I didn't care for any of the slimy characters. However, I still like his ability to tell a story.

Written in 2000, this novel is at times, creepy and unsettling- especially when it mentions lack of funds for the American military and to intelligence.

It was easy to read and follow. Very enticing till the end!

Not Grisham's best. The plot never really seemed to get off the ground.

I found this book to be so captivating. Following criminals behind the scenes of ongoing scheming was so fascinating. I think the portrayal gives much insight into how firmly we can grounded in our behaviors if we do not take advantage of opportunities to change.
