I have a bad habit of flying through comic books without properly enjoying the artwork. This book stopped me in my tracks. Every panel could be framed. 

This is such a sweeping narrative that takes you across the galaxy and back in time. Yet the story remains grounded in the humanity of Supergirl.

Kara's grief is so much more tangible and raw than Clark's, because she wasn't a baby when Krypton died — and she saw it die twice. This makes every decision she makes to remain kind and good hit even harder. Her kindness, strength, perseverance and restraint in the face of countless unimaginable cruelties had me weeping.
