I don't even know what to say, this series just keeps getting crazier and crazier but I don't seem to be able to stop!!!! Kinda like pringles :D
This one wasn't nearly as good as the first book. Doubtful that I'll read book 3
I really liked this book but not as much as book one and the novella. I think it's because Sam's unhealthy running and eating habits are really starting to get on my nerves lol. I can't wait to read the rest in this series though! Love Mason & Logan too!
Defintley love this world and characters although the fact that grimace is used constantly is super annoying. And is the reason I gave it 4 stars because I'm so sick of seeing it.
In Book 1 of this series we got to meet Sam and realise she had some issues from her past although these were never mentioned in detail. In the continuation to the story we start to see the depth of those issues and where they stem from.
I loved reading about Sam, Mason and Logan and following what happened next. For me though there were two stars to the story. Analise, Sam's mum, was an outstandingly crazy character and i was always looking forward, with an almost sick sense of anticipation, to see what she would be able to pull next. At times she seems soo calm and calculating, and then when she loses it the true depths of the craziness shows.
The other stand out star for me was Heather. It was nice to see Sam finally getting a no nonsense friend and i loved the snarky attitude.
If i wasn't in the middle of about 3 reading challenges i would quite happily of read the whole series back to back!

So much drama but not at all realistic. This is another case where the characters really should be set as older then they are supposed to be since the majority of the things that happen just is not at age level. If you just moved the characters from 17 to 22 and put them in Uni is would be more believable ish. This is definitely not a YA novel even though the characters are supposed to be teens and it's been billed as YA but I will tell my teen to skip it.
3.5 stars
I was so excited for this release of this book. I loved Fallen Crest High, especially the characters. Sam was independent, brave, witty and took no crap from anyone. In FCF she completely changed. It's like she wasn't even the same character. I do understand that she's still in high school and she's a young girl, but its a complete 180 from the first book.
Of course the Kade boys were still hot as ever and Logan was still too funny for his own good, I was a little disappointed in Nate. We didn't see much of him in FCH but what we did see made me really like him. He was just like the Kade's. He seemed sort of like douche in this one. Of course towards the end he seemed to redeem himself a little, but not enough for me to like him again.
In my opinion, this book could have been shortened and half of it could have been added to FCH and the other half to FCP. I'm still excited to see what's in story for the fearsome four and I hope everything works out for Sam for Mason. I was a little surprised that they didn't have any problems between the two of them. I mean they are in high school so there's bound to be some kind of drama, but oh well. We'll see what happens.

This was like watching a soapy teen drama. The angst was high and a little ridiculous. Most of the story centered around Sam’s mom and how crazy she was. Like others, I missed the old, tough Sam. This one clearly had some trauma to deal with, but her fear and sadness only seemed to come out around her Mom. And for some reason, Sam had trouble distancing herself from Analise, despite the fact that she had no problem cutting off friends left and right. Even David, who she dropped the moment she found out the truth about him. I don’t know. This story was okay. I’m not loving it, nor am I drawn to any characters (besides Logan). I already bought most of the series though, so I will be continuing between other books.
