A lot of words for a lot of nothing happening - what was the point of this book

Idk if I’m dumb or what, but the ending of this confused me soo much. I like literally don’t even understand what I just read. I enjoyed the overall idea of the story, but I feel like there are so many plot holes, and the way the book is written so mysteriously, my brain can only think ???? The only thing that I can say about this book is that Libby always got the short end of the stick with everyone, and I wish Nico loved her a little bit more.

I hated one of the characters audio so I DNF. Will possibly pick back up and physically read it.

Fun read and I definitely want to know more!
The dark academia vibes and magical secrets and heaps and heaps of intrigue were really well done. I also enjoyed the multiple POVs giving the reader both insights into the various characters as well as providing many questions and almost no answers. But in the best and morally grey way.
It was a tiny bit hard for me to get into things, but after I flew through the book, reading 450 pages in about two days. Ahaha.
The last part of the book was so good! I was really waiting for things to get to some sort of crescendo and I was not disappointed. Whoa! I really want to keep on reading and find out exactly what is happening at the society.
