I take back everything I said about the negative reviews. The plot isn’t going anywhere and I’ve made it 40% in, the characters are pretentious and unlikeable, and the scenes were 80% filler dialogue.
I actually had such high hopes but I cba to stick to a book that’s not doing it for me while I have very little time to read in the first place, like come on. When you’re 40% in you should be wanting to reach out and devour the pages, not reaching out just so you can get it over with and move on to the next read

Fun start to a series! I really liked the characters and I'm excited to see where this goes.

This wasn't for me. Very character focused, with little character development by the halfway point. From what I've heard about the second half, the focus will be on one of the characters I am the least interested in.
