loved it! Read it at record pace as I'm a slow reader. do think she should have made Conall beg alot longer before giving in. But love is love and in the end the infant inconvenience has a say in her emotions as well.
ready to find out what they baby will be and how biffy likes being a pup!
Reread Oct 2017 .... I had forgotten so much of what happens in this book with the template! And I really really hated the German scientist and his little dog too
Reread for the 2019 read along.... female specimen...ugh. everytime it irks me the whole book
Lord akeldama and biffy still so sad :(

I am absolutely enjoying this series ... 4.5 stars but should probably be five. I guess I'm just not sure the story will stick with me. LOVE the accent of the narrator for the audio edition. It really adds, even though I know my imagination would attempt to add it, it likely wouldn't be as effective. The narrator is wonderful with the different voices for different characters, and keeping it all consistent. Very talented! As for the writing ... the humor here is great. I'd find myself smiling and even laughing at times. The "infant inconvenience" and pregnancy/paranormal problems, all the action and everything ... utterly enjoyable. Even if I AM mad at a certain werewolf for his pig-headedness!
Tempted to give it 4 stars because the plot was actually a lot stronger than the others in my opinion, but there was something lacking in it compared to the first two that I can't quite put my finger on. Still enjoyable, but I somehow just wasn't as captivated by this one. Nevertheless, I definitely can't wait until Heartless is on my library's shelves.
Characters still great. A little too much steampunk and fighting for my taste. Enjoyed Alexia's introduction to pesto - wish she had gotten to experience more food in France and Italy!

The third in Carriger's charming Parasol Protectorate series. Full of laughs and danger, and some interesting postulations on how werewolves and vampires could have fit into the course of European history. And a cameo appearance by a gentleman well known to some on my friends list (can't tell, that would be spoilers).
These are some of the zaniest, most fun books I’ve read in a while. The plot itself is fairly banal, and had any other author written it, I don’t know if I’d have liked it. There’s no real romance and positions haven’t shifted too much. But oh the dialogue and interactions in these books. Just make me giggle. And I love how unique each character is. Too much fun!
loved it. I cannot begin to pick a favorite character among this crew, because they all have something that sets them apart and makes me love them all the more. Cannot seem to put this series down.
Dieser Band der Reihe hatte an manchen Stellen ein paar Längen. Aber der Witz von Alexia hat diese sehr gut wett gemacht.
