This series just keeps getting better. I really hope that there will be a fourth book in the series. Also I wish I knew where I could get the short stories between each of the books. I looked on the publishers site and the authors homepage along with a DuckDuckGo search that yielded nothing.

This book fully cemented and added stained-glass windows on the cathedral that is my love for Ashley Poston’s stories. Full of a bunch of my favorite tropes (who doesn’t love a good Howl’s Moving Castle reference??), moments that made me giggle to myself, and so GOSH DARN relatable with Rosie’s love of stories.

In her acknowledgements, Ashley said that she wrote it for herself, but I loved this book sooooo much that I felt like it was written specifically for me.

As much as I loved the first two in this series, this one is my favorite. I wasn’t pleased when one of the MCs was a super jerk from the previous novel but he has a German shepherd and he loves her so WTH. I ended up loving both characters but Sansa is still my favorite.

Well, I read it because of the obvious nod to Beauty and the Beast, with an emphasis on books. And I was not disappointed in those 2 aspects. However, I did not really enjoy the writing. Everything felt both overwritten and incomplete at once. The plot was fun to get behind and it was nice when I realized another B&B element had been introduced. But it just isn’t very well written, IMHO. I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it. It was just okay.

i loved the first part of the series and liked the second, but this one sadly felt at times more like a fanfiction than a third novel in the series

3.5 stars. I really did enjoy this and it was a good ending to a really cute series.
