A good solid 3.5 ⭐️ read!

A delightful Beauty and the Beast retelling

A contemporary young adult romance full of sci-fi and books.
A troubled teen movie star was stuck, laying low in a small town and a high school senior grieving for her mum and trying to decide on her next step.
Loved: diversity of gender and sexual attraction amongst the cast of characters, the love of books, the Beauty and the Beast retelling and the humour.

I loved reading "Bookish and the Beast" by Ashley Poston so much! I have read her other books and I am happy to say this one will be another hit. I love how the author takes an old concept and truly makes it her own. Both main characters Rosie and Vance were great! They were both likable and how they interacted together was too cute. The author did such a good job of describing the world and the characters making it easy for the reader to follow along. Not much needs to be said about this book, except that everyone should read it! It's a book that is perfect if you want a modern take on the original story.

Should you read "Bookish and the Beast"?
Yes! This story has such a cute romance and reminds me why I fell in love with books.

**Received an advanced copy through NetGalley in return for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. **

Audio. This book was mindless and somewhat entertaining, which served its purpose, but it was not good. So glad Ashley Poston has grown as a writer since.

This was probably my favorite overall of this series, not that the others weren’t my favorites too. But this one, this one I liked a little bit more than the others. It was also the only one that didn’t take place at the convention that the other two did. Though I will say that a small like flashback did take place there but besides that it was in a new setting. I also enjoyed seeing the previous book’s couples in this one too. Getting to see their happiness still continued into a different story was really refreshing. In this one though I was ready to smack Vance so much because like ugh 😑
Rosie on the other hand loved her a lot but there were also times where she deserved a smack too. Both were so stubborn  and at times so clueless to one another.
I also really loved Quinn and Annie too, kept Rosie from giving up and pushed her to be the best she could be no matter what she chose.

I so missed the world of ExcelsiCon and Starfield ❤ full review coming soon on my blog!
