This features some beautifully poetic writing and I liked a lot of the messages about life and love. There were some parts I didn’t like as much but I think that was more of a problem with the translation than the book. I would like to read a different translation to see if that changes my opinions.

3.5 stars. It’s a beautifully written story but I think he says it’s best, I could not relate. Those who could not relate could not truly see this story for was it was. Nonetheless, I did enjoy it.

(4.5) The writing is breathtaking. I couldn't comprehend all of it but the vagueness was beautiful. It created a void in me and it was both comforting and melancholic at the same time.

Oh.... My... God...I never seen or read anything like it... This is new to me...I read some heartwarming(this is not heartwarming) novels but Kahlil Gibran is Poetical, Magical, Enchanting, Aesthetic and Suffering.

Reading the whole novel is like "Watching a bunch of Roses and Lilies blooms from the tips,slowly unfolding its petal (like her voice coming from my lifeless phone) and fill the fragrance all over you (gives you a nostalgia when you met her first time.) while you're in bliss by the scents and flowers(when you take her hand and her shy eyes melts your heart) and ...the flowers dried up and the scents withers...they Leaves you alone with your Loneliness, The dried petals spills all over the place along with your tears".

The Broken Wings leaves you with both spritual Exaltation and with a bee named "sorrow" which stung your heart everytime you think about it.

I can't find anymore words to describe the beauty of the novel.. But i want to... I want to write about it... To talk about it... To think about it...To cry about it and smile about it...
I literally highlighted almost every lines coz everyline drowns me with extreme love and deepest sorrow....The love for my novel and the depression he gives me when i finished it, is ETERNAL.

Butterfly that hovers around the lamp until it dies is more admirable than the mole that lives in a dark tunnel

Their exhilaration is like footprints on sand which remain only till they are washed away by the waves
