This one was super confusing for me. Really good but hard to follow everything that was going on.

This was okay. It started mediocre and ended pretty good. Once the main Batman arc came about it really picked up steam. Overall, yes, Crisis is usually a wacky insane culmination of way too much to actually fully explain. Sometimes even fully follow.
A very tough read for a superhero tale, incredibly grandiose in scale snd full of gnostic symbolism. Incredibly, it's even harder to read than Morrison's Doom Patrol or The Invisibles. Nevertheless, it contains amazong plotlines and concepts.
First all star Superman, now this confusing pile of pretension. I don't think I like Grant Morrison very much.
I'm pretty much on the fence with this one. Some issues were great, some were okay, and some were so mind-numbingly confusing that I wanted to throw them across the room in frustration (but I couldn't, because I was borrowing them from a friend and didn't want to ruin them). So it's pretty much classic Grant Morrison.
Hoo boy. DC feels a need to stir up everything in their universe every few years, instead of just writing good stories for their characters. This stirring is just a whole lot of wackadoo.
I love DC comics, but I have never been a fan of Jack Kirby's New Gods, and that's what this entire series is about. Blech.

I can't decide if Grant Morrison is a genius or craziest write DC has hired in the modern era. His plots don't always make sense to me and half the time, I can't follow what's going on.
Maybe I'm just not a fan of his writing.

At first I thought it was just because I haven't been that well-versed in the DC Comics universe that this seemed so confusing, but now I've looked at other people's reviews and so many other people feel the same. So. Yeah.
I might come back to this another time. But not right now.

It was mostly confusing and muddled with complicated panels and storytelling. After reading a few of Morrison's bigger works, I realize that his writing doesn't do it for me. I have not cared for anything he has written (Final Crisis, Batman R.I.P, All-Star Superman) so far.
