GAHH THE WRITING. truly so enthralling and captivating. there were so many lines where i was just so THERE. the POVs were insane in a good way. the style gets a 10/10 for me genuinely so so so good.

the vibe of the book was spectacular. i LOVED poppet widget and bailey— definitely my favorite plot-line (which i don’t think was supposed to be the case but whoops). celia and marco were cute but it took over half the book to get anywhere with them. once they did i feel like it was kind of insta lovey— but honestly not the worst ever. i was fine with it. i never really had strong feelings towards them besides like “awhhh.”

also, the ending felt weird to me and i wish we got to see certain things revisited or tied up, but honestly this book wasn’t really about that for me, so i can forgive that.

Predictable ending, characters were flat...the circus itself had more personality than several of the main characters.
