This was a lot of fun. It's a great way to get an introduction to the Black Kirby exhibit and a lot of the pieces it showcased, especially if you weren't able to see the exhibit in person. Also, it gathers together a lot of prominent scholars and artists that are focusing on Afrofuturism, Black Superheroes, and their overlap. This field is understandably hard to find any analytical and critical literature on, so this book is pretty essential.
