This series was really strong in the first two books but now it just got.. weird? It’s definitely a shift I didn’t see coming and I actually got bored halfway thought which made it a struggle to get through.

Felt very much like a filler book. Given the ending to book 2 one would think that book 3 would be the conclusion but they had to just keep adding problems to solve which was basically this whole book. I expect book 4 will be what I was hoping this book would have been so hopefully it’s more enjoyable.
I really like mates in books but God I think there was enough growling…
Edit: I was okay with this since as I’m reading the series on KU and can begin book 4 straight away until I realised it’s not out yet. It’s only about 25 days but by that time I’m not sure if I will be bothered/interested enough to continue or I will just forget about it.
