This book dragged. I never understand why fantasy authors who have made up an entire new world half way through are like oh btw here's a new god and here's a new universe. Like you had enough to work with as it was. Anyway this was the filler book setting up the final book drama.

It hurts me to give this one only three stars but I was disappointed! I absolutely devoured the first two books but this one just didn’t meet the mark.

The possessiveness of the Prince got to the point of cringey and unnecessary. Some of the spicy scenes gave me the ick and I ended up skimming through them.

I really hope the next book captures whatever it was that the first two had!
