the info on sex clubs in japan was interesting, but overall I found this book to be predictable and much less thriller-y than anticipated. I was going to stop halfway through but finished bc I wanted to see if there was some surprising twist at the end (there wasn’t)

summary: kenji, a tour guide of sex clubs in japan, is guiding american tourist frank around japan for a few days and grows suspicious that frank is a serial killer.

The concept of the book was very good and it was very well written.
This book was very intense, I a way that made you the reader feel anxious for all the characters involved. One scene in particular far too gory for me which caused me to stop reading for a long time , aside from that would have been a 5 star read
