This book is very well written and everything feels thought through and structured. Probs to TL Swan. But I realised that widow stories aren't really my cup of tea. I love Tristan and I kinda like ld Claire in the beginning too but after
Tristan showed them the house he wanted them to move to and was like talking about adopting the boys (so adorable) she acted like a selfish bitch. Literally.
That's a huge thing I didn't like but also in the end it felt like the author was trying to just find any conflict to put in to just keep the story going and to get some kind of plot in (cuz there was almost none in the whole book) and it didn't work well. It just annoyed me tbh. Also major turn down. The book could've been 100 pages shorter where all the bitchy parts of claire are left out and them
breaking up for 2 weeks (very dramatically I might add)
.
I thought it might be a 4 stars but sadly...

This book was amazing! The banter between the FMC and MMC, the storyline of the FMC and her process of grieving, and the HEA were all top tier. There were times I literally teared up and cried, and times when I laughed out loud so hard. I cannot recommend this book enough if you’re looking for a contemporary romance story. Tristen Miles is what all men/book boyfriends should be like!
