More like a 3.5 for me. Sweet story with interesting characters that all manage to fit together and help each other out. A feel good book for sure.

This is one of those which make any other book after it less entertaining. I was thrilled by this. In so many ways it spoke to me. My rating is not only given for personal reasons though, the style, narrative and plot were something else, but it is so well written that it is not just about being different. This is a very interesting book, that I think will grow in popularity. Keywords? True gender equality. Loss and sorrow. Different lifestyles. Changes in life. Growth. Plants!

This was a quirky little tale of a young girl navigating a confusing new life without her parents after a fatal car crash. She experiences an unlabeled neurodivergence which brings a lot of depth to her character and the story. The characters really shine in this one as they are all very believable and interesting. Definitely a feel good east read that I would recommend!
