LOVED IT!!!!! This story was classy and informative. If this story was supposed to show how easy it is to get trapped in an abusive relationship--it succeeded. If this story was supposed to show how helpless the victim can feel--it succeeded. If the story was supposed to show the victim that she isn't alone--it succeeded. If this story was supposed to tell the victim that survival was possible--it succeeded. If this story was supposed to give hope to those in this situation--I hope that it succeeded. Help can be found in the most unexpected places. Claire was once a strong, intelligent woman. That is until she meets Brent. He has to ability to change her, making her his personal puppet, his arm candy. AJ Harmon has a way of revealing the growing evil within him and how greed and influence can change a person. Zeke, didn't come in on a white horse, he drove a tow truck. In fact, he didn't think much of her when they met. His mom and sister may have helped her leave, but Zeke cared for her. Zeke helped her grow by loving her, bringing Claire back to herself. The story flowed well from beginning to end. The descriptions made it easy to imagine what the characters looked like, locations and what was going on making A Choice for Claire a very enjoyable read, one that could easily be read again.

Another great story by AJ Harmon. A Choice for Claire is about domestic violence, rape, and finding new hope. Claire makes choices throughout the story, some good and some bad. Her greatest choice leads to her happily ever after. My heart raced with fear, excitement and love as Claire went through many life changing situations. Way to go AJ!

This is a very difficult subject to read about.

AJ did a beautiful job writing about a very ugly subject. I felt every emotion that Claire felt...her sadness, her joy, her triumphs.

Every person deserves a family like Claire's friends, who will stand by you no matter what. This book was very well written, and takes the reader on a journey too many women are on every day.
