A cozy read. Could get you out of your reading slump. Only complaint is this was a short read. Would love to know more about the characters if the author ever decide to write about them more.

I really enjoyed this short but cute story ! I loved the relationship between the siblings as well as the friendship between all of them and the sense of "family" they had.

I also loved the f/f relationship and the (simply) non binary representation that we don't get to see a lot.

thanks anahita for sending me a free copy !!! <3

OG REVIEW (3.75): This was such a lovely read & it would’ve been 4 stars if the main character had used the word lesbian, instead of referring to herself as a gay woman. That’s more of a personal thing, though. The story was really compelling and I loved the characters & dynamics, especially the sibling relationship. I love family stories & this was truly lovely.

thank you anahita for sending me a free copy <3

EDIT: I have since been informed that the mc is in fact not a lesbian & doesn’t label her sexuality so i am hereby changing my review to 4 stars :-)

Very cute and emotional (and gay! Seeing sapphics makes me SO HAPPY).

I'm so excited about what other stories Anahita will write and I will definitely check them out as soon as they come out.

I'm friends with the author through Twitter and I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my thoughts.

A beautiful short story that explores the complexities of what it means to be a family! What I loved most about this is it never infantilizes its child character nor does it demonize a teen's desire to be free. Maybe it truly is about balance and love and all of the people we cherish. Thank you to the writer for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review!
