Well, to start with I expected this series to be a trilogy. So as I’m getting to the end I’m like, how is this gonna end there’s only ten pages left! Personally, I would’ve made this a trilogy, but I’m not the author and I’m not exactly complaining either.
The beginning of the book was a little slow and repetitive. It was just constant Kira in a bad mood and nothing’s changed in regard to her damaged soul. I was starting to get frustrated when things picked up big time. Like it went from 3 to 8 in pacing in like two pages.
The big reveal of this book was not what I was expecting. So that made me happy because I usually see these things coming.
With the ending, we’re given no clues as to what exactly the next book will entail aside from “defeat the bad guy once and for all and save all the friends”. I’m certainly interested to see what comes next.
