I was really looking forward to reading this series, because I have visited a lot of the places that he writes about. I did enjoy that aspect of the book, and I thought it wasn't bad for about half of the book, then the lawyer turned into Rambo. I wish I had kept track of the number of people he killed, seemingly without a second thought. I usually don't have trouble suspending my disbelief, but this one really strained it. I did buy a couple more books in the series, so I will read them as well, but frankly I hope the body count stays a little lower, because it really isn't realistic at ALL.

This is one of a series of books set in my neck of the woods. Our hero, Matt Royal, lives on Longboat and travels between Tampa, Venice, Orlando, and Key West in his quest to squash evil doers. These books are best enjoyed outdoors (pool, beach, patio) with an ice cold beer or two. Matt's gonna have a couple Miller lites with you.

Again, gym reading. This one was okay. The story was decent, but nothing special. I enjoyed it well enough, but I doubt I'd read any more of these.
