Wow, a new standalone from these amazing ladies and I was blown away. We are drawn into the action almost immediately and from then on we are taken on quite a ride.

The characters are all extremely well written and the storyline kept me interested all the way through.

Fans of the authors will love this story, and in particular the very last line as it brings a hint of what the future could hold. I was so surprised, and delighted, to read the end and cannot wait to see what the authors may do with this next.

A great read which instantly went on my favourites list. Huge thanks to the authors for providing a copy.

The story picked up pretty quickly, not taking a ton of time to set things up, instead doing that as things moved along. Pretty good misdirection in the beginning opens up a nice mystery at a later point. I was definitely pulled into the story and was investing in how it would play out. The narration was a bit robotic in tone, and I’m not sure if that was intentional, but I found it distracting at times, and it pulled me out of the story, which can be frustrating. But overall I really enjoyed the book, and I liked how it tied into the Blind Barriers trilogy at the end, something I was hoping they would do.

I received this audiobook free in exchange for my honest and fair review.
