This is the book that really made it clear Klune has a ways to go when it comes to racial diversity, but it’s not as glaring as it will be in the next book.
I enjoyed this one more than the last one, mainly because watching my fave (Robbie) get beaten up by the narrative was incredibly fun. I still don't find the big bad's motives particularly believable though.

im crying this book was so good. the ace rep was some of the best i’ve ever read and kelly was so much like me that i just felt so seen. i think robbie and kelly are for sure my favorite couple so far
