I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book! It captured me from the beginning, ripping out my heart, kept me needing more and never wanting it to end. The story of Chiara and Dominic will completely blow you away! The story was amazing, keeping me on my toes and Chiara and Dominic together, holy smokes! The push and pull between them and the anticipation will burn you. I could not get enough of these two and every scene with them together will heat up your room. Those scenes are some of my favourite ones I've ever read in a book! I can easily say this is one of my top reads of this year, and Dominic is one of my top book boyfriends ever! He gave everything and I took willingly. The agony you feel for him is intense and his words will bring you to your knees. I cannot wait for more of this world and Dominic's brothers' books! I wonder which brother will end on top because if they capture me like Dominic, I'm going to be in trouble! Amazing work!

All the characters are amazing, loyal, and at times funny I loved each one of them, especially the bond the brothers have. It’s intense and intriguing keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting for what will happen next. If you love angst, action, and steam this book is for you. I can’t wait for more of the series with each brother.

I just knew after reading the Fragile Hearts series that this one would be another emotional one, she doesn't seem to write any other way, and I was ready to fall in love these characters. Chiara and Dom had a painful and beautiful story to tell and although I wanted to smack Dom sometimes I still adored him.
It can be dark at times so mind your triggers. Again, emotions run high so be ready. This book has all the twists you could ask for and though we're left at a kind of cliffhanger it was just satisfying enough that I won't scream until book two comes out.

Wow! So I originally read the Messina family first but now that I went back and started from the beginning and I read soooo fast. Beware though if you have any triggers than please check them out first because I cried during certain scenes. It definitely gets intense but seeing what Dom and Chiara went thru was something else. I love these two for each other and I really hope to see peaks of them in future series.

love me a good second chance, hate to love, mafia romance! there were definitely some cliche/corny moments and the MMC pissed me off with how ignorant he was at times, but still had a fun time with this. i did like that the FMC didn't forgive him right away during the third act breakup but she didn't make him grovel nearly as long as she should have. this was actually one of the first times i wished a romance book would be longer because i needed their development after what happens in the third act break up to be more flushed out. a fun read!
