I'm going to be so honest - I likely have no business giving this book a rating because so much of the humor and what I'm sure are well known tropes in the gay community when right over my cishet white girl brain. However, I did find the style and storytelling to be delightful in all it's chaos.

Brontez Purnell’s unique voice shines through in this collection of queer short stories and vignettes. The characters that we follow are mostly queer men who make bad decisions and have lots of sex with lots of partners. This collection is an interesting mixture of dark and light. Most of the stories are enjoyable, although a few of them don’t necessarily come to any conclusions. I’m going to have to read more of Purnell’s work because this collection was thoroughly engaging.
