The prose is t o r t u r e d. It suffers from an incurable case of trying too hard. I couldn't get into it.

I can't get past the writing. The prologue was okay. But I just can't with the sex scene in the first chapter. The word choice, the phrasing.

I'm not rating, that'd be unfair. But this book is not for me.
