A delightful short story focusing on Alucard and how he came to be captain of the Night Spire. However the story is also brushed with sadness as it discloses exactly what happened between him and Prince Rhy, revealing why Kell despises the captain so much. It's short and bittersweet, and a brilliant addition to the Shades of Magic series.
