This is the most beautiful description of a place I've ever read. Not only did I learn about destinations and rock formations at Acadia that have since fallen from popularity (but are still there!), but I got to learn of the rich history of tourism of this stunning place. Reading how well-appreciated the beauty of this place was in 1872 only makes me love it more in this century. 1,000 more visits wouldn't give me the chance to appreciate every stunning vista and majestic natural formation this place has to offer.
