ugh. this could’ve been a four star because it really was well written, but there were certain tropes i just cannot stand that were prevalent throughout. i wouldn’t have read it had i known about the big one that ill put in content warnings, and i honestly almost dnf’d because of it.

Picked this book up on a whim after scrolling through my kindle books and I enjoyed it. Was it the best mafia book of all time? No. It had a generic plot line like most mafia books do with an obvious villain, but I still liked it and don’t regret reading it.

It took me so long to finish this book.

And I think it’s because I was very I’m interested in the storyline. Once I figure out how fast everything was going.

They’re literally be days where I was just read may be a page and not want to continue for a minute.

I just think this is very fast paced, and I just didn’t want that for such a good potential story.
