This a lovely and cozy manga to read in the winter. Hakumei and Mikochi are adorable, their tiny adventures are fun and the art is beautiful and detailed. This is a perfect low stake read. I recommed to read it with the anime ost !

Very cute slice of life manga. The world is really idyllic and Hakumei and Mikochi are super cute. Had fun reading it and will probs grab more volumes soon!

This was such a cute and cozy read! I love playing Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games, and this felt just like the stories and conversations I would make up for side characters while playing.

Hakumei and Mikochi are two friends living together in a little house in the woods. They cook, do odd jobs, shop in markets, and participate in village activities with their friends. Other characters are a mix of other little elf-like people and animals, all of whom have such big personalities. Each chapter is its own individual story and spaced apart from each other with town origins, side conversations, flashbacks, and excerpts from news articles. Tiny Little Life in the Woods is focused on two characters, but shows so much of a big world and I can't wait to read more volumes.

This was cute but not my favorite. Kind of reminds me of smurfs episodes...cute and sweet but forgettable. I would read this with my daughter and will probably continue with the series just because I got them from the library...but it's not a series I would ever buy.
