Such a hopeful, devastating, beautiful book. Adina is the most human alien, it’s impossible not to love her. Each trial she encounters is specific and vivid in a way that makes it achingly real and relatable. The supporting cast of characters is equally funny, charming, flawed, and lovable. Laughs and tears in equal measure. This is ultimately a story about love, for people and self and humanity. Anyone struggling to find joy in a flawed world will benefit from this story.
