excellent apart from the author writing “perfect little chest” and “perky little boobs” from Cameron’s POV, fucking yikes bikes

This book was not for me, I found the voice of the male protagonist very unbelievable, and the characters and plot were not particularly interesting. Plus
the octopus narrator was like an annoying intellectual, which I didn't find very interesting as far as attempts at writing octopus consciousness.

I think without Marcellus, this would have been the same old book... But I *love* aquariums, I would be the perfect cleaning lady for a small town aquarium, and, well, this was a charming story.
