It just keeps loosing plot for the sake of introducing more and more characters. Kind of happy I only have one GN left in this eries. But the story is kind of background to the introduction of new characters every single issue. And it just gets lost. Also the art feels more and more rushed the further along I go. The art on volume one was amazing. Now it’s just becoming a bit rushed and plain.

These are fine. They’re fun and have heart.

I feel like the lack of one coherent plot doesn’t bug me. I’m reading this for the concept of an all female ww2 comic... and I really like seeing all these cameos.

The art is great and I ship Harlivy hard so this is good content

Lots more of the same elements I've come to expect from this series, but in some ways, Bennett is actually getting better at it. If you love alliteration, fantastical events and superheroes injected into historical events, and most importantly, ALL THE LADIES OF DC BEING SUPER GAY FOR EACH OTHER, this is for you.

3.5 rounded to 4. I liked the stories in this volume more than the last one, but I didn't love the song-as-narrative device. I am enjoying how this series twists many of the well-known DC storylines and characters.

Everything about this series is wonderful. Harley's puns are life. The artwork is superb. If this was a movie, P!nk would be Power Girl. I love it.

I don’t typically read LGBTQ books or comics, so DC Comics Bombshell vol 5 was a different style and genre for me.

I loved Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy in this, since they’re my favorite DC women villains. With the different timelines and scenes, I was getting a little bit confused.

Definitely need to read the others. This one was really good.

This one upped the trash-ante by turning every passage into a song for no reason. And, seriously, name-dropping Hogwarts?

And as for the actual plot, or what little there is of it, did we really need to add in four new main characters after all the others barely have enough screen time as it is? AND DID ONE OF THEM REALLY NEED TO BE BATGIRL WHEN WE ALREADY HAVE BATWOMAN AND A GAGGLE OF TEENAGE BATGIRLS?
