A great novel on the divide between social classes. It really gets you sucked in since it's so immersive, makes sense considering the author wrote this around the same age as the characters (absolutely crazy) in the same era and is inspired by an event in her friend's life. I do wish there was some more development in some of the gang but it's under stable considering it's written in Ponyboy's perspective. I heard people read this in school and I can't imagine how much I'd be crying if I did the same.
