This series is such a delight; I remember why I loved them so much when I was younger. The worldbuilding is so cool and it builds so well off the previous books. It feels like I've really gotten to know the Castle now, after three books. And the characters! Big sprawling casts can be tricky, but as with the previous two books, Angie Sage manages it masterfully. I also appreciated that, like Flyte, Physik jumps right into the plot and we keep rolling until the end. (That was one of my few complaints about Magyk, because there was a lot of set up and then a lot of time where not much was happening because they were just waiting.) A very solid entry in this series!
I cannot get over the thing with the ducklings in this book though. I am still full of absolute horror.
