A beginners guide to feminism

This was good but nothing groundbreaking. I felt like the points the author was making were often quite obvious? Maybe it is her age, but I agree with the comments that 16 year old me would have loved this. The drawings were really cool but.

A solid "introduction to feminist ideas" text. Endlessly quotable lines, and some seriously relatable anecdotes. Also made me check my own unconscious privileges a little, so definitely worth the effort, and looking past some of the clumsy references.

visually very pleasing.
the book itself is... okay?
it's more of a self-help and growth book with a feminist background than the introduction to basic feminist theories i hoped it would be.
definitely helpful, especially for younger women who try to become their own person, but for someone who already knows some stuff about boundaries and self-care and the male gaze, it's more of a nice summary to have on the shelf and look smart than the mind-blowing revelation it's made out to be.
