Well intentioned, very introductory book to feminism and empowerment. As such, it lacks nuance/intersectionality/feminist theory. However, I noticed early on that I was not the intended audience; this would be a very nice, vibrant and digestible read for very young adults or those not yet familiar with feminist themes!

IDK; I got bored of reading it but then realised this isn't a story. DNF
It's more "advice". None of it is eye-opening or revolutionary. I couldn't relate, but IDK; maybe ppl from different backgrounds do things differently, so it felt like useless pointers. a lot of relationship "advice" or pointers about understanding self-worth and don't settle for a douchebag, which a) a pretty obvious thing most women know and b)I've never been in a relationship, so maybe that's why I could barely relate, to this
impact on confidence levels = I still hate myself.
Jk,
Idk what else to say cause I did stop reading it.
I don't even know if I am writing an accurate review cause I genuinely can't remember much of the book; I read it months ago and never completed it.

This is a very surface-level dive into feminism. It isn’t particularly intersectional (the closest it gets to this is a “white race, ethnicity and culture privilege,” which was very bare bones), but it’s a good starting point to becoming more socially aware.
