This book was a refreshing take on religion. As someone who didn’t grow up religious, I really liked her journey of religious discovery and how she uses talking to God as a diary of sorts, or just someone to talk to, not an almighty deity. Also, I love that she never chose a religion in the end.

A solid read 👍👍

Very relatable, being 11 was horrid.

It's been a very long time since I read this and I thought it would be fun to read it again. It's a classic.

I was immediately drawn to this book because of the title - my name is Margaret. As a good little southern Baptist, I wondered why anyone would question God's presence. This book undeniably contributed to my growth during my pre-teen years, opening my mind not only to the fact that there were other religions out there, but preparing me for the lovely facts of life that were about to hit me face on. I still cherish this book!

I'm not the target audience (at least not anymore) but I can totally see why Judy Blume is one of the greats. This was a very well-written book.
