After many years of teaching young teenagers, I should not have been as surprised as I was that Elloren becomes yet another casualty of raging hormones. Who hasn't allowed their decision-making powers be swayed by burgeoning sexuality? I honestly do not know how the love triangle is going to be resolved in the next and final book, but it doesn't bode well. Is the Lukas-Yvan dichotomy going to create the greatest polarization that fantasy fandom has ever seen since that vampire series that I never got around to reading? I'm expecting to see rally signs on the streets and promotional tee-shirts in all the clothing stores! Way to stir up some controversy, Ms. Forest!

This book you got to see a lot more of the world which I loved. More POVs which I also enjoy! I was trying to decide if I like this one or the last one better and I think I enjoyed this one more! Because of all the different looks at the world and the FMC coming into her own more!
