600+ pages for 3 main plot points:

1. Yvan "dies" (which btw was 3 sentences, but major enough to mention)
2. Elloren goes to Lukas for protection
3. Elloren and Lukas get married and run away together.

Did it need to be this long? Also I am uninvested in most of the POVs, I just wanted a continuation of the second book. Instead it just all felt jumbled. I'm trying to figure out if I even want to read the next book or not. I feel like I could read a couple spoiler reviews and skip it. Maybe the fifth book will be the redemption? Lolll

There was A LOT going on in this one. Everything happened 😅
well the fact that Ivan isn’t really dead is not really THAT surprising is it? I wish they had brought back a body -obvi someone else who was glamoured to look like him - but still. Elloren was annoying as shit sometimes in this book. I’m glad we found out the trees bound her and that she finally got over herself and started fighting. The thing is, I hate love triangles, we’ll see how this plays out.

So good! Maybe my favorite of the series so far. I can't wait to read the next one!
