4.5 Lights To My Siren

I am a huge fan of Lani Lynn Vale. She makes MC books different in a way I LOVE.

I saw that my library had the few books I haven’t read yet and I was all over it. I loved the way Sebastian is he is a hot as f Fire Fighter.

I really liked that Baylee is a paramedic, who has a few issue of her own, I really enjoyed the story and how they both give each other as good as they get. No one backs down but it is not about drama it is more about compermise. I do wish we had gotten more of Sebastian’s son that would have been even more awesome.

Over all I enjoyed this book.. Not sure if I liked the male narration; he sounded older but I think maybe that is why I liked it. Hmmm that’s a thinker.. LOVED the female narrator!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Love alpha heroes. Sebastian was just an asshole.

I need a Sebastian in my life.

Sebastian is VP of the Dixie Wardens MC. He was single dad to his son Johnny since his mom died in the motorcycle accident and they had to deliver him. Sebastian was not a one woman's man until the day he met Baylee. She was everything he didn't know he was looking for but what he didn't know is would she fit into his world.

Baylee was Swat team's Luke's sister. Young, beautiful medic that had just recently moved and purchased her first home. She loved her job and had some medical issues which seem to come between her previous boyfriends. What she didn't count on was him or his family.

This book gave me so much laughter, heartache and love. I shed tears during some parts and just was amazed at other.

"Because tomorrow it could all be gone, and I had to love like today was my last"
~Sebastian

Sebastian lives by a few rules, as a VP for the Heroes of the Dixie Wardens and a single father, he keeps a distance from committing to a woman and never letting one on the back of his bike. He did that once and it killed her. When he agrees to help build a porch he meets Baylee Roberts, she is everything he would be looking for in a woman but he is not sure if he is good enough for the beauty who has a different perspective on life.

Baylee has been fantasizing about Sebastian since she borrowed, well permanently decided to keep, his hat. When they continue to run in the same circles, Sebastian decides he is going for it and Baylee is excited to see where it will lead. Sebastian has to decide if he is planning to let Baylee all the way in though and make her his old lady, can she handle to truth or is he willing to let it go.

I absolutely adored this book. Sebastian is no nonsense and he handles Baylee beautifully. Baylee is a handful, her brain goes on overload sometimes and I think she ignores things sometimes that causes her to get in trouble. I liked the whole MC dynamic and that it was just not a smooth romance, they had real problems that they had to work on. Definitely an MC series to pick up if you have not already.

Another great story and getting to know more about Luke and his family along with the other Dixie Wardens is always a big bonus. Baylee and Sebastian were a good strong couple eventually though there were a few messed up moments I felt like Baylee let him get away with things and other times when he was very harsh with her when he shouldn't have been. Still...another great read.

Oooh loving the beginning of this new-to-me series! Gives me a bit of a Kristen Ashley feel, who is my favorite author, so you know where I'm coming from. Alpha male, doesn't give much of a shit what people think, spunky strong female with just the right amount of vulnerability. Great couple and strong, fleshed out supporting cast. Just the right amount of angst for me, never felt hurried or rushed and great detail without ever going into too much detail (a few of my reading pet peeves). All in all I loved it and cannot wait to read more!

I listened to the audiobook and the narration was good.
