You know when you read a book, but you don't want to finish it because it is way too good, but at the same time, you can't stop reading it because you get so attached to the characters, that was me with this book
Seriously, DANTE AND ELENA ARE made for each other, I love them and this book
I'm going to start reading more books with anti hero main characters
I won’t sleep before I finish reading the 2nd book (I’m going to regret this, it’s 1am here and I have school tomorrow, my eyes are begging for help)

DNF - I was not interested in the second part enough to read it, when I saw how much was left of the book, I was done.
Lots of cringe moments ‘cancel culture couldn’t cancel the mafia’ errrrrmm
The whole situation with her sister and her kind of willingness to forgive her was ridiculously annoying
I know it’s Mafia dark romance what can I expect but I didn’t like the way he tricked lied etc
Also she has a rule of not snooping and he did exactly that lol
It was random the way she let his mates beat up the colleague harassing her and drove his car etc when she was like I can’t get caught living with you haha
Also kind of silly because surely people know his cars haha so his enemies know
“femininity against my strength oddly compelling” - cringe
I also did not feel like Elena was an ice queen at all tbh, she had a hard life so slightly had her guard up wasn’t what I thought she like be like.
It was okay don’t regret reading but would not read again

Dnf at around 20% (chapter seven). Didn't care much for the characters and there is something about the writing that I'm sure is just not for me.
