To be fair it was quite literally the movie. I enjoy it. There are a couple of things in addition but I think it's basically word for word, picture by picture. Review to come 68/100

disappointing book for a disappointing film. Considering they're all written by Alan Dean Foster there was a lot of inconsistencies between the facts in the book. In Alien, LV426 was 6mths travel from Earth. In Aliens, it was 2 weeks out - fair enough, technology improved while Ripley was in suspended animation. Yet in Alien 3 it talk about interstellar travel taking many years?

All in all, not a great read.

In my opinion; better than the movie! I could be biased though. I hated the scene where the dog died. In the book it's an ox. Somehow that was less worse than the pitiful cry of the poor rottweiler.
