This is one of those rare gems that I could read over and over again (and will). Like Tim Grover's Relentless, the more I devour this book, the more I pick up on - the more I learn and grow. If you're an "Aber" you need this book. 5/5.

A book that teaches you how to act in a way that will help you attract what you desire, like succes. Similar to the book The Secret. Might be worth reading if you are into self-improvement books.

I started this from an analytical perspective, wondering why so many people I know talk about manifesting. This book had maybe two nuggets of wisdom (gratitude and the emotional scale), a bit of innocuous hokey stuff, and some ideas that are downright problematic: mainly, that manifesting can induce physical healing. I kind of feel like this is a rebranding of Joel Osteen-esque televangelism without the Jesus: a quick and easy fix for the struggles of being human, dashed with some classism.

Also, I felt like Gabby was the hero of all her stories. I would have liked to hear more about others who find the practices helpful, without the part where Gabby comes in and saves the day for them. Maybe some interview sections would've been nice too.

I liked this one a tad bit more than her previous one, but I don't think her style is for me. Loved the surrendering concepts (of course).

This book is plain awful. Every single chapter goes the same way.. She spends the whole chapter bragging about her life, her website, her books, name dropping every famous spiritual person she possibly can, claiming she channels Wayne Dyer’s spirit, talking about all her “struggles” which are for the most part just white rich people problems, then in the last paragraph of the chapter she will finally get to the point which is so surface level it’s embarrassing. It’s just “think positive” “choose your thoughts” “love and light”, or things she’s regurgitated from Abraham Hicks and A course in miracles.

This book is the exact same book she’s written over and over again now. There is absolutely no substance, don’t waste your money or your time.
