Cute and not too long! I don’t like it when a conflict drags on a long time during a romance novel. I know that it can increase the stakes and make the reunion more special, but it usually just bums me out and makes me lose interest. This book was a great length with a great love story. No excessive conflict and good spice!

Very romantic, very spicy. The music theme was really fun and new to read. It felt like the main characters didn’t talk much and their only relationship development was through music, which seemed a little lacking, but it was still a really fun story.
It wasn’t badly written for a contemporary romance. Just something about it felt off. It wasn’t really enjoyable to me and didn’t feel technically good either so I can’t rate it higher than 3.5. I did really enjoy that one scene where they “intimately connected” with music. It sounded so powerful and made me think how beautiful it must be to love when you’re a musical artists capable of creating and putting sound to something.
