Didn't intend for this to be my first book of 2019, but here we are. Read this one aloud to my little sister in an attempt to calm her down after a scary movie. But, on to the book itself!
The artwork in this one is absolutely gorgeous. There's more text to this one than some of your illustrated books, but not an overwhelming amount. The story is very sweet. Perfect to read around the 4th of July too.

This is a super sweet book about immigrants traveling to NYC to make a better life. I quite enjoyed reading this!
