This book starts exactly where the first one finishes. The storyline grabs your attention right away, but beware of the trigger warnings. As disturbing and unfortunate things that were happening were I couldn't lift my eyes from the pages. Part 2 starts off very sad, and then the book ends with you rooting for "the good bad guys".

I loved the start of this book. Obviously not for the faint of heart, fuck any normal heart either. This book is extremely dark and I had to put it down multiple times for my own triggers. I felt this represented rly well what no one wants to see and reading this in some way helped me with my own trauma. The ending took me forever to read, just lots fo sex with Zade, which isn't bad but it just didn't hit home as much as the beginning did. I love this book so much.

This book was actually WAY darker than the original! The writing massively improved in my opinion in the second book and it's more plot heavy than the original. It's a super tense book, I found myself holding my breath during some moments.
